Akron area realtors to get a new home
Almost two years ago, two realtors' boards, the Cleveland Area Board of Realtors, and the Akron Area Board of Realtors, merged to create the Akron Cleveland Association of Realtors. According to an October 23, 2015 news item, that new organization will be taking another new step, and will soon operate from just one location.
At present, the Akron Cleveland Association has offices in both Akron and Independence. However, the two will soon consolidate their operations, and the Independence office is expected to close some time before the end of the year. The Akron office will also close, though no timeline for the closure has been decided.
Meantime, the Association has leased new space in the South Hills Office Park in Broadview Heights, which offers 6,500 square feet for use as offices. The space will be demolished some time starting in November, with construction slated for December and January. The exact date for a move-in has not been set, but it is anticipated the new office will open some time in late January or early February of 2016.
The move gives the realtors an opportunity to update several important business tools. First, they can work with stationery printers to create new letterhead, and with a business card printing company to have new cards made. Finally, they can also contact a business forms printer to make sure all company materials reflect the new location.
