Winter events will help to warm up the season

Two events taking place this March in Rochester are likely to appeal to all members of the family.

First up, the Kids Fun Fair and Zoo will be held on the first weekend of the month. It is set to offer kids rides, a carousel, and games involving balloons. Visitors can also ride an elephant, a camel, or a pony. A petting zoo will allow people to get up close and personal with llamas, goats, alpacas, and zebras. Food will also be available for purchase.

Taking place during the same weekend, the Winter Carnival at Swain is offering a wealth of outdoor entertainment. This includes the fireman's hose race, the dummy downhill, and musical performances. There will also be a ski sale at which shoppers can take advantage deals on equipment and clothing.

To advertise these upcoming events, organizers may work with Rochester Print companies to create Flyers to be distributed in the city.

The Kids Fun Fair and Zoo is taking place at the Dome Center on March 7 and 8 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children aged 12 and under. Call 1-860-491-3421 to learn more about the day's events.

The Winter Carnival will take place at Swain Resort on March 7 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. To get more information about activities, call 607-545-6511.
