Rochester residents will soon be digging deep into the back of their closets, digging out their leisure suits and polyester pants and heading to Water Street Music Hall for an event that will offer a taste of the 70s.
The 2nd annual Downtown Disco Rochester will once again see members of the public get their groove on in one of the city’s iconic music spots, which will be transformed into a 70s-style disco hot spot. It's for those age 21 and up only, and tickets start at $43.24 each.
The guests at the celebration will be invited to take to the dance floor and show off their best moves to disco tunes, and the mirrored balls and other decor may make it feel like they’re at Studio 54. Everyone is encouraged to come in their favorite disco gear, and the fun will run for three and half hours, starting at 8:00 pm.
Annual themed events and a banner printing company may be a “dynamic duo”, as they will be able to prepare reusable decor that may be quite budget friendly. These options can often be rolled up or folded flat for ease of storage.
Downtown Disco will be bringing 70s themed fun to the city on March 7th. Anyone who would like to make sure they don’t miss out are invited to purchase their passes now.
