A hands-on activity planned for parents and kids to experience together will soon be on offer in Rochester, and it will offer a full day of frosty, fishy fun.
The Casting Connections event planned by Wayfound Outdoors will be on offer in late February, which tends to be a chilly time of the year, so it will be focused on ice fishing. All the gear and a variety of special perks will be included in the day, and both dads and moms are encouraged to sign up with their child.
The ice fishing shelters will be set up on Braddock Bay Park, and the session will be led by an outdoor expert. Full instruction will be provided, including the safety protocols to follow out on the Bay. Warm drinks, handwarmers, and other comfort measures will be provided, and everyone who makes a catch will be taught how to clean and cook their fish. Professional keepsake photographs will be taken of all the fun.
To further encourage the parents and kids who participate to enjoy ice fishing on their own, a draw for themed Corporate Gifts donated by the activity’s sponsors will take place. Tickets for the entire package start at $161.90.
Braddock Bay Park at 199 East Manitou Road will see this program take to the ice at 8:00 am on Saturday, February 28. Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts
