Alzheimer’s disease is a form of dementia, and a Rochester celebration will raise funds to help eradicate this condition.
Senior Care Authority will soon be rolling out the welcome mat for those who purchased tickets for its “Tasting to End Alzheimer’s”. It will add a touch of fun to early September, and when this was prepared, there were still tickets available.
This year will mark the second anniversary for the Tasting, and last year was such a success the planners decided to bring it back. Pinnacle Wine & Liquor and Radio Social have teamed up to help support the celebration, and it will be an immersive experience. Tickets for the soiree include both the pours and bites that will be served, and prize baskets, raffles and even split draws will bring even more excitement. The list of wines and spirits that will be poured is quite extensive, and new items may be added as the date for the gathering draws closer.
Event organizers often reach out to the local business community, requesting monetary donations or the contribution of Corporate Gifts in kind to use as prizes or to add to draw baskets. Doing so provides a way to give back, and there's a wide assortment of choices available.
The second annual Tasting to End Alzheimer’s will work to help eradicate this form of dementia on September 10th. The doors will open at 5:30 pm at 20 Carlson Road, Rochester.
