A special event is on the way for Rochester, and it will connect local residents with locally based support and services that may be helpful to them.
Action for a Better Community (ABC) has teamed up with a variety of service organizations to prepare a family friendly celebration, and it will be set up at 285 East Main Street in Rochester. It will kick off in the morning and run throughout the day, and admission will be free.
The crowd at the gathering will be treated to live entertainment, and both line dancing and music from the All in Brass Band are on the agenda. There will be fun for all ages, and the first 1,000 through the gates will receive meal ticket takes to Frito-Lay and Zweigle’s. Everyone can explore the community service organization tables, and raffles and other prize draws will add even more excitement. Local leaders will address the attendees, and details about how ABC projects benefit the area will be shared.
Large community gatherings often take place outside, and a banner printing company can provide decor that can readily withstand exposure to the elements. Both single use and reusable styles are available, and they may all be quite affordable.
May 23rd will see ABC host its Community Action Day Resource Event. It will begin at 11:00 am.
