Rochester seeks volunteers for community clean up

Spring is on the way for Rochester, and community members have been asked to roll up their sleeves and give the city some TLC.

This hands-on service project, which has been dubbed “ Rochester Cares Clean Up Day”, will be taking place at various locations, and there are a variety of tasks to be done. The venues will be in the city’s downtown, and all ages may participate.

The volunteers will be helping with activities such as picking up litter and other debris as well as spreading mulch, and assistance will also be required with setting up for the day. Fencing will be painted at some of the locations, and helpers will also set up for lunch, which will be delivered from local eateries. Each time slot can accommodate a set number of participants, and other than the set up and lunch spots, they will all begin at 9:00 am.

A community service provides a fun way for the public to give back. Promotional Products can be ordered from a local printer to hand out to those who lend a hand with an event, and if they are printed with its Logo Design, they may also do “double duty” by serving as making materials.

The registration system for Rochester Cures Clean Up Day is now open, and all help will be appreciated. It will be held on April 19th.
