Rochester rescue farm to showcase Pig Picassos
A Rochester farm that provides homes for companion and farm animals that need a second chance has plans in the works for a fundraiser that will combine pigs and pumpkins.
Lollypop Farm is home to a number of friendly potbellied pigs, and they will be the guests of honor for its Pigs and Pumpkins activity. As everyone is encouraged to wear a family-friendly Halloween costume, it will be a festive affair, and it will take place outdoors.
Those who reserve a time slot for the day will receive the use of their own personal pumpkin carving table and canopy, and here, they can either paint or carve their gourd. Each space will be able to accommodate four people, with two add ons available if needed. They will receive a carving or painting set, and refreshments will be served. The potbellied pigs will give a live demonstration of their artistic talents, and each guest will go home with one of their works.
Along with all of the other fun, each guest will receive a take home bag of small corporate gifts and other treats. There are three different time slots to choose from, and tickets for a group of four are $100.
