Relaxing in the garden can be a pleasant way to spend a June evening, which is why Rochester’s George Eastman Museum has made plans to host a floral themed party, and adults from throughout the area are welcome.
This opportunity for an evening visit to the museums gardens has been dubbed ‘Booze and Botany’, and it will be held in the historic gardens that make up part of the museum’s property. The whole event will have a horticultural theme, and the guests are encouraged to enter into the spirit of the occasion by choosing to wear sun hats, khakis, and attire that has a floral design.
The attendees will be invited to sample hors d'oeuvres, and botanical cocktails will be poured. Live music will keep the crowd entertained, and the assembled group will also have an opportunity to make their own cyanotype art using fresh flowers and herbs. Anyone who would like an even more informative experience can purchase a VIP ticket, as this will include a guided tour of the gardens.
The evening is scheduled to start welcoming guests at 6:00 pm. A printer can prepare Drinkware that has been printed with the host’s Logo Design for an event like this, and it can be used by the attendees and then taken home by them as a memento of the evening.
June 5 has been chosen to be the date for this function, and tickets start at $55 each. Its online listing can be consulted for more information.
