Rochester mall set to welcome special guest
Santa loves spending time with kids, and Rochester’s The Marketplace Mall has found a way to let the little ones spend some time with him that will also keep them safe.
Starting in early December, Santa will be stopping by the mall’s Center Court, where he will preside over the site, which will be decorated to feel just like his workshop at the North Pole. There will be photos taken for any families that wish to have them, and a new booking system has been put into place as a response to the pandemic.
The organizer of the activity is asking parents and guardians to book their timeslot, and they can even purchase photo packages ahead of the day. To help accommodate as many families as possible, reservations will not be needed for the first and last hour of each day, and these spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The organizers of this sort of activity often arrange for Santa to present each child with a special item to take home. Coloring books and other small corporate gifts can be ordered ahead of the occasion from a local printer, which will have lots of options to choose from.
