Rochester gardeners who have been itching to get their hands dirty will not have to wait a lot longer, as an annual horticultural celebration will soon be welcoming the gardening public in just a few weeks’ time.
For one weekend in mid-March, the Rochester Dome Arena will be transformed into an indoor horticultural showcase, and all sorts of landscaping and other horticultural-related businesses have already signed on to be a part of the expo. They will each have their own display set up, and the public can ask questions, gather advice, and collect Business Cards from the different companies, and maybe even book some services for the upcoming season.
Along with the vendor section, the event will include many presentations and other learning opportunities. A special invitation has been issues to the younger set, as the Children’s Garden will have special activities and other fun just for them. Here, they can enjoy some coloring and rock painting, and the photo booth is available for families to stop by. In addition to all of this, there will also be health-related information for the parents.
This year’s Gardenscape will be held in the Rochester Dome Rena from Thursday, March 12 until Sunday, March 15. All ages can enjoy their event, and the whole family is invited to attend the festivities.
