Rochester’s Genesee River provides the area with a rich natural history and is home to a wide assortment of flora and fauna.
Locals and visitors are welcome to hop aboard the Harbor Town Belle for a tour that will give them a chance to experience the river’s wild side.
The passengers aboard the boat will be treated to a tour into the Lower Genesee River Gorge, and the guide for the occasion will be Tom Snyde form The Seneca Park Zoo. As the craft steams along, he will discuss the plants and animals seen along the way, and there will also be details shared about the area’s industrial and cultural history.
The cruise will depart at 3:00 pm, and it will arrive back at the dock at 6:00 pm. A complimentary buffet dinner will be served, and a cash bar service will also be available for anyone who would like to enjoy a cold drink. The trip promises to offer a variety of interesting views and give the passengers the feeling they have traveled well into the wilderness.
