Rochester’s animals in need of support and protection will be getting a hand-up thanks to a make-and-take class planned for the area.
Lollypop Farm has a long history of involvement in animal welfare, and it will be hosting a rock painting fundraiser this May. Instructor Susie Lucey will walk the participants through the project, and they will be able to utilize their new skills at home to complete other projects.
The attendees will be painting rocks with animal themed designs, and it is part of the venue’s Be Kind to Animals Week schedule. The materials will be provided, and the class will run for two hours in the afternoon. Tickets for the occasion are $15 each, and only a limited number are on offer, so those who would like to participate may want to order their well in advance.
Fundraisers give the public a way to help a cause they support, and they can be a lot of fun as well. A flyer printing company will be able to aid in making sure as many as possible know about upcoming local activities so they can include them in their schedule.
Lollypop Farm will be giving Rochester residents an opportunity to release their inner artist on May 5. It will host the function at its main campus, and further info is available here.
