Rochester foodie friendly festival accepting vendor applications

Garlic is an herb that has many fans, and this popular ingredient will be the star of the show during an upcoming celebration.

Formerly known as the Webster Garlic Festival, the newly renamed Rochester Garlic Festival is accepting vendor applications for this year and it will give growers and consumers a chance to connect. The proceeds will be used for the benefit of Challenger Miracle Field, which includes an inclusive play space when children and adults of all abilities can join in the fun.

Local vendors of food, drinks, crafts and other items are encouraged to submit an application to be included on the roster for the 2020 Garlic Festival. Garlic farms and other growers will be offered a lower booking rate to both support the industry and thank its members for their efforts. Not-for-profit groups are also welcome, and their fee will be just $50. The fees will include the space as well as public recognition, such as including the company’s name and logo design on the festival’s website.

The 2020 instalment of the Rochester Garlic Festival will be celebrating this humble herb on September 12 and 13 at 1350 Chiyoda Drive in Webster. Its website includes the most current information about the function as well as links for vendor applications and other details that can be useful to these participating businesses.
