Rochester families offered day of indoor active fun

Rochester kids really to release their energy after a long winter weather can take part in a special day planned at a community venue this weekend.

The staff at Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex will be pulling out all the stops for a day of fun that will transform two of its ice surfaces into a huge indoor playground. This way, it can take place rain or shine, and there will also be an opportunity to enjoy some skating.

Families at the function will be able to climb and explore the equipment that will be set up, and games will be on offer too. They can have their faces painted or go for a spin in one of the bounce castles. Admission to the occasion also includes unlimited skating and a free skate rental.

The organizers of the day want it to be as inclusive as possible, so they have included a special sensory-friendly room for any guests who are neurodivergent. Stationery printers will be happy to craft social story Books and other learning materials to help families of a non-neurotypical child prepare to enjoy an activity.

The Spring Fling Kids Fest will kick off the new season this Sunday, April 2. The venue can be found at 2700 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road in Rochester. Tickets are available here.
