NEXUS-NY, which is an initiative that provides seed money and other assistance to clean energy startups, will be offering the public an opportunity to come and see for themselves what some of the state’s entrepreneurs have devised when it comes to ‘going green’.
Over the past nine months, NEXUS-NY has provided support to an assortment of enterprises, and they will be coming together in an event that will showcase all they have done. Many will have prototypes and other tangible examples of their research and other work, and will also have representatives on hand to discuss the past, present, and future of heir company and ideas.
Along with providing an opportunity to connect local entrepreneurs with the public, innovators are also encouraged to attend. They will be able to meet with representatives of NEXUS-NY, who will be on hand to discuss the organization and what it can do. Business card printing and other services for anyone who will be taking part in an activity like this can be supplied by a local printer.
The evening will open with tabletop demonstrations and a networking meet and greet, which will be followed by presentations from an assortment of companies that have worked with NEXUS. After this, there will be time for more networking.
The NEXUS-NY Clean Energy Demo Day will be held on October 10 in Hatch Hall in Rochester. It is free to attend, and the organizers encourage anyone with an interest to come out and join in the celebration.
