Rochester area event to showcase quilts
Quilting fans and those who just appreciate these handmade and functional works of art alike may wish to save the date for a Rochester area event that will showcase the works of a wide variety of quilters.
The Webster Quilt Guild’s 2018 Quit Show, which is billed as one of the largest events of its kind in the state, will display a large number of quilts, and the public is welcome to come out and browse through them while learning more about the craft. A variety of vendors will be on site, and they will have displays set up that showcase the products and services they have to offer the local quilting and sewing community.
Admission to the event is $5, and tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the door. The monies raised through the show will be donated to various community projects, and to help maximize the impact of the occasion, a raffle is being held. The winner will receive a quilt made using a pattern named ‘Wild Ocean Rose’. Banner printing and other services for this type of occasion can be sourced from a printer in the local area.
