Daylight is limited in December, but a Rochester area community has plans in the works to host an event that will bring extra light and color to the holiday season.
Greece will soon be throwing the switch on its annual seasonal displays, and the central point for the event will be its holiday tree. The festivities will all take place outdoors so dressing for the weather is a must, and it is free to enjoy the celebration.
Along with the tree lighting the guests will be able to meet Santa in person, and everyone can hop aboard for a horse drawn wagon ride. Live music will help to put everyone in a festive mood, and there will be an assortment of treats available for the crowd to purchase. If the weather cooperates, fire pits will be lit to help keep the partygoers warm, and the tree lighting is scheduled for 6:00 pm sharp.
Choosing decoration for an outdoor event will be a snap for those who utilize the service of a banner printing company. It will be able to supply weather resistant decor in a wide selection of styles.
Greece will be welcoming one and all for this festive kick off to the holiday season, and it wants everyone to stop by and enjoy the experience. The fun will take place at 1 Vince Tofany Boulevard.
