Plant repotting party awaits in Rochester

A warm spring day can be perfect for repotting, and a Rochester event for local plant parents will provide an opportunity to do it.

The Spring Repotting Soiree is right around the corner, and it will offer an opportunity for those who love houseplants to provide their green friend with some care in a group setting, making it a little less of a chore. Tickets for the activity start at $15.

Participants will be able to repot their plants without having to clean up a whole lot of soil and other mess in their home. They are asked to bring their own pot to use. The growing medium, tools and gloves will be provided, and both premium and basic potting soil will be available for purchase. While they work, participants can chat with the other plant parents and share their best tips. Any who would prefer to use their own soil blend from home are welcome to do so.

Spring is a popular time of the year for a planting class or other horticultural activity. A flyer printing company can provide assistance in spreading the word to the public about an upcoming class or workshop.

This morning and early afternoon of potting up plants will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 20. The location for the session will be 180 Winton Road.
