Music festival will heat up Rochester this summer

Rochester Summerfest is taking place this July for two days. It is presented by the City of Rochester.

Each day of the festival is set to feature a different genre of music. The first day will be the Blues and BBQ concert. The musical performers will include Lenny Williams, Clarence Carter, Chris Beard and Jimmie Highsmith. Tickets are $15 in advance, $25 at the gate and $35 for VIP.

Day two is the Old School Hip-Hop with Today's R&B. Among those who will be performing are Salt N Pepper, Rob Base and Cecil Love. There will also be food for purchase, community vendors and children's activities such as bounce houses, face painting, rock climbing and batting cages. Tickets cost $37 in advance, $47 on the day and $57 VIP.

Rochester printing companies are often asked to help advertise these types of events by providing poster printing and other services. The poster can be distributed inexpensively and quickly to help spread the word.

Rochester Summer Fest will take place from July 10 to 11 at Sahlen's Stadium. Blues and BBQ will begin at 5:30 PM on July 10 and Old School Hip-Hop will start at 12:00 PM.
