Jazz returns to downtown Rochester this summer
The 13th annual Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival will be taking place in the city for eight days this June.
More than 1,200 musicians are expected to take part in the festival, which will feature in excess of 300 concerts. There will be three levels of performances during the eight days: Headliner, Club Pass Series, and Free Shows.
Headliner concert ticket prices start at $55, and performers already confirmed to appear are Janelle Monae, Michael McDonald, and Earth, Wind and Fire. A Club Pass is $194 and will allow the ticket holder admission to more than 230 performances. Finally, there are expected to be 81 free shows at various locations in the city, such as outside of the Rochester Public Library. Food vendors will also be on hand at several venues.
The festival never fails to bring a lot of visitors to the city, as well as their tourism dollars. Organizers of the Rochester festival have likely been in touch with their favorite printing company to help them advertise throughout the country. This may include flyers and brochures that can be distributed in many different ways and for little cost.
