Flower City Days to return to Rochester

The Rochester Public Market will soon be celebrating the arrival of spring by playing host to a series of Sunday shopping events planned with gardeners in mind.

The venue will be welcoming the return of Flower City Days by offering several Sundays that will be filled with a variety of horticultural vendors. In a release to the public, the organizers explained that this annual activity is extremely popular, and everyone can stop by at a time that suits their schedule.

The items that will be included in the celebration range from annual transplants and hanging baskets to perennials, herbs, succulents, houseplants, as well as vegetable starts. An assortment of gardening equipment of other gear will also be in the mix.

After the shoppers have made their plant selections, they have been invited to linger and browse through the brick and mortar shops, eateries and coffee shops that can be found in the vicinity. Horticulturally themed celebrations are often popular in the spring planting season, so a brochure printing company will be able to partner with local event planners to help promote a community activity throughout the area.

The City of Rochester Public Market, which is located at 280 Union Street North, has made plans to offer Flower City Days on Sundays throughout May, as well as the first Sunday in June. Everyone is welcome to take part and help support horticultural operations.
