The Inspiring Beauty Gala is taking place next month in Rochester.
The reason for the event is to celebrate the exhibit ‘Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair’, which is showing at the Memorial Art Gallery for most of April.
The evening will start off with a cocktail reception, featuring appetizers and a cash bar followed by dinner, both at the Strathallan Hotel's Cityview Ballroom. The party will then move on to the Memorial Art Gallery.
There will be music from such artists as the Atlas Ban and the Nate Rawls Trio + Dilynda, entertainment from Garth Fagan Dance and the Vogue Dancers, and a midnight fashion parade. A silent auction will feature a designer showcase, and a DJ will also entertain the crowd. Guests can will be able to check out the ‘Inspiring Beauty’ exhibition too.
Sponsorships are available for $600 and sponsors will receive recognition in the program that everyone will receive.
It is likely that the event program that may serve as a souvenir of the night will be provided by a Rochester brochure printing firm.
The Inspiring Beauty Gala will be held at the Strathallan Hotel and the Memorial Art Gallery on April 2 from 5:30 PM to midnight. Tickets are $300 for dinner and the gala or $175 for the gala only. Contact the gallery at 585-276-8900 to learn more.
