A new luxury midrise is now open in downtown New Rochelle.
This community, known as Modera New Rochelle, is eight stories high and has 334 apartments within walking distance of local shops, restaurants, bars, and many other amenities. Features of the units include stainless steel appliances, full-size washers and dryers, and wood-planked flooring. The community also features a rooftop deck with views of the skyline of New York City and the Long Island Sound, which is a resort-style swimming pool, a dog park, and a fitness center.

Mill Creek Residential is the company behind the new development. Senior managing director of development for Mill Creek Residential, Russell Tepper, said the belief of his company was that New Rochelle is one of the most dynamic submarkets in the metropolitan area of New York City. He added that the location of the development near Main Street places residents close to the many attractions of the downtown.
Modera New Rochelle is the latest offering from Mill Creek and is built to the Green Building Standards of the National Association of Home Builders. The development is also ideal for commuters as it takes less than five minutes to walk to the New Rochelle Metro-North station.
