College in New Rochelle recognized for financial strength

The Financial Report Card of Forbes for 2026 has recognized Iona University in New Rochelle as among the healthiest private colleges in the country. The university earned an “A” and was ranked as among the top 16 percent of the institutions evaluated across the country.

The operational strength and financial health of private universities and colleges across the country are evaluated in this annual report. The score which Iona received was 4.02 such that the university is among a select group of financially strong and institutionally stable organizations. The recognition from Forbes also underscores the continued investment and growth of the university that includes strategic campus initiatives, expanded academic offerings, and a sustained focus on student outcomes and success.
