The College of Saint Rose has partnered with Iona University in New Rochelle to provide a smooth academic transition for students at Saint Rose to complete their degrees at Iona.
This will enable these students to stay on track to graduate after the college closes at the end of this academic year.
The provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs at Iona, Tricia Mulligan, said the university is committed to supporting the students from Saint Rose during this challenging time.
Mulligan added that there are academic counseling and support services at the university to help transfer students meet their needs. She expressed her excitement about welcoming these students to Iona.
This Teachout Program offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as MSEd and MST programs. Additional highlights of the program include waiving all enrollment, admission, and/or transfer application fees, and accepting all credits earned by students at Saint Rose. It will also waive any residency requirements, including completing a specific number of credit hours.
Students from Saint Rose who are interested in living on campus will receive a residential grant of $750 per semester, or $1,500 per year.
More details about such programs and their benefits can be provided with flyer printing.
Students will have easy access to New York City via the train and be able to return to their new home on campus.
