A tour will be embarking from New City this May with the goal of providing new historical insights to residents and visitors who want to learn more about the American Revolution.
The RevWar250 series will continue with its next installment in Rockland County, allowing attendees to learn more about the Andre-Arnold Affair and the truth of the betrayal and espionage that altered the history of the United States. The tour experience will combine sections on a motorcoach and others where walking is required.
The tour will explore the events leading up to the meeting between British Major John Andre and General Benedict Arnold on the banks of the Hudson to discuss the surrender of West Point. Guests on the tour will visit sites related to the event, with a guide helping to bring it all to life. For a more comprehensive learning experience, organizers can use brochure printing to provide more information and a map to show all of the related sites.
Attendees will see the Orangetown Museum, enjoy a guided walk in Dutchtown, see Revolutionary War sites in Tappan, and enjoy lunch at the Old ‘76 House, before returning to New City.
Ticket holders will meet at the Historical Society of Rockland County in New City at 8:45 AM on Saturday, May 9th. Tickets start at $107.48 per guest online.
