New City artists and creatives who want to pay tribute to their furry companions will want to make a note in their diaries, as a painting session is coming to a local venue.
The Pups and Pints Pet Portrait Painting experience, which is being organized by Pet Portrait Fun, has planned an evening of painting with friends and like-minded individuals, with the goal of creating a masterpiece of their favorite canines. The event, which is open to all interested parties, does not require any background experience to participate and have fun.
The event is being billed as one of the top activities in the New York City area for dog lovers. Participants will need to send a photo of their pet to Michele, the event’s organizer, leading up to the event’s date. Michele will draw the pet, providing the canvas for the evening. Print shops can make Copies of the finished works to share with friends and family.
Dogs are welcome to come to the event, though organizers ask that they remain leashed and well behaved for a tranquil and welcoming environment. All participants must be at least 21 years of age to attend.
The painting experience will be held at D.B.A. on East 1st Avenue in New City. The session starts at 1:30 PM on Sunday, November 9th. Tickets are $65 per person online.
