Nanuet area to have access to new nursing program
An innovative 2+2 Nursing Program has been established by a unique partnership between SUNY Empire State University and Rockland Community College (RCC).
This program will enable students with an associate degree in nursing from RCC to transfer seamlessly to a baccalaureate degree in nursing by taking coursework provided online by SUNY Empire State University. This will enable students to earn both degrees in four years and may be of interest to students in the Nanuet area so that they can remain in the area for their college education.
There are many benefits for students offered by this program that include affordability, an educational experience that is seamless, and convenience as the online component reduces the need to travel. This makes this program more affordable and accessible for students in Rockland County. Such programs often turn to brochure printing to provide more details about the program, costs, and other requirements.
RCC’s Dean of the School of Nursing, Health, and Wellness, Dr. Maureen Kroning, expressed her thrill that RCC has partnered with SUNY Empire State University for this program.
Dean of the School of Nursing and Allied Health at SUNY Empire State University, Dr. Kim Stote, also expressed her honor to be partnered with RCC on this program. This program will be starting for the fall semester.
