New Greek restaurant to come to Nanuet
A new restaurant is now open in Nanuet.
Brothers Nick and Stratos Lambos are the owners of Pita Greek, which started in 2020 as an online kitchen only. As they grew up with their family owning AquaTerra Grille in Pearl River, their goal with the new restaurant was to create an airy and light place inspired by the Mediterranean, focusing on take-out.
The new restaurant seats 40 people and is decorated with pottery imported from Greece, blonde woods, and bright colors.
In addition, many of the recipes are from the late grandmother and aunt of the Lambos brothers. The restaurant features photographs of Lesbos, the island from which their parents came, as well as other pictures taken by other family members and friends.
One of the signature items on the menu is the gyro, but Pita Greek also serves seasonal salads, house made tzatziki, fluffy and warm pita bread, naturally-raised meats, and rotisserie roasts. Other items on the menu include pita sandwiches, baklava, falafel, lamb, spanakopita, and beer and wine imported from Greece. There is also an outdoor patio that seats 25 people.
Such new establishments can benefit from flyer printing to promote themselves and their offerings throughout the community.
Pita Greek can be found on S. Middletown Road in Nanuet and is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Sunday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
