The annual summer event “Manhasset Al Fresco” will be held by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce this month.
This event comprises six evenings of shopping, dining, and live entertainment out on the town. A schedule of the entertainment and special dining available for such events can be outlined with flyer printing.
Outdoor dining will alternate between South and North Plandome Roads with these roads closed to foot traffic. There will also be giveaways and raffles by Shop Manhasset along with photo opportunities. Children are encouraged to join in the festivities as “Chalk the Town” will be held with an activity table for children on most of the event dates.
A partnership of the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department, the Nassau County Police District, and the Council of Greater Manhasset Civic Association have made this event possible.
The kickoff night will be this Sunday, June 12. There will be performances by the Dave Diamond Band, The Glenn Strange Band, and the Contemporary Ensemble of Manhasset High School from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. Among the outdoor dining options will be Schout Bay Tavern, Villa Milano, and Herb & Olive.
On Sunday, June 26, kids between the ages of 8 and 18 years of age will participate in “Whose Got Talent?” and will include dancers, magicians, musicians, comedians, and more. Among the outdoor dining options will be Green’s Irish Pub, Louie's Manhasset, and Publicans.
The last evening will be Sunday, September 18.
