The location in Port Washington is the sixth store of the chain to open on Long Island. Additional stores are in Huntington, Oceanside, Westbury, Commack, and Hauppauge.
The shop offers more than 15 salads, wraps, soups, warm bowls, and smoothies that are designed by chefs. Signature items on the menu include Tokyo Supergreens, Thai Chicken Crunch, and the Crispy Chicken Poblano as well as seasonal salads and salads that are friendly to the earth with low carbon footprints. The mission of Just Salad is to offer sustainability and every health to the community.
Just Salad also offers its Reusable Bowl Program. Guests are encouraged to join the effort of the company to reduce waste by purchasing a bowl in the store. Every time they reuse the bowl, they will receive a free salad topping.
As part of its grand opening Just Salad will be hosting a Reusable Bowl Happy Hour. From now through Friday January 3 on weekdays between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. those who are in the Reusable Bowl Program will be able to purchase a salad or warm bowl for $8.99. Such offers and promotions can be made known throughout a community and surrounding neighborhoods with flyer printing.
