For one day only, chocoholics and anybody else who loves the sweet treat enough to make it to the Cradle of Aviation Museum will have the opportunity to indulge in their passion for the cacao bean.
The Chocolate Expo is one of the largest events of its kind in the whole United States, and it is still growing. At the event, visitors will be able to taste and purchase all types of chocolate covered foods.
Chocolate, however, is not the only attraction at the event; baked goods, gelato, wines, cheeses, and specialty foods from between 35 to 100 vendors will be available to sample and purchase. The vendors are international, regional and local. They might benefit from Business Cards and Flyers to further promote their businesses. The expo will also feature some unique exhibits, some possible celebrity appearances, and/or performances and demonstrations, lectures, and other Forms of entertainment.
For those who are 21 and older, there will be tastings of ciders, distilled spirits, wines, and beers after a submission of ID. Tickets may be purchased online at $15 for adults and $10 for children from ages 2-12. At the door, each ticket price will be $5 higher. The tickets cover both admission to the Expo and full admission to the exhibits.
All this is happening on December 11 in Garden City, located nine miles south of Manhasset.
