Manhasset residents have been offered an opportunity to show their support to their community heroes during the 2017 Tunnel to Towers 5 k.
Warriors for a Cause is organizing a group of people from the local area who are interested in participating in the run. It will be open to people of all ages, and each person who registers to participate through the group will receive a both an event T-shirt and a Warriors for a Cause shirt as well. Promotional Products such as these can be both designed and then printed by an area Print company. They will also receive breakfast, bus transportation to and from the run, and, when the run comes to an end, they will also be offered access to a post-race luncheon and party.
Individuals who will be taking part will gather at Mineola’s Chamingdale High School before boarding the vehicle, which will be departing at 7:00 am sharp. The funds raised through the event will be used to help support the different Stephan Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation initiatives, including a program that provides adapted housing for service members who have sustained serious injuries.
