Manhasset chamber to host unique Halloween event

The Halloween on Plandome Road will be held by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce next month. This event provides the opportunity for residents and visitors to patronize participating merchants and have some Trick or Treat fun.

Poster printing is often used to promote such seasonal events throughout a town and neighboring communities.

The event kicks off at 1:00 p.m. at the Mary Davies Green. This will be a party with a DJ and lots of Halloween fun. There will be a performance by dancers from Annmarie's Studio of Performing Arts followed by Georgie Porgie, a magician from Enchanted Manhasset, performing at 1:15 p.m. There will be raffles, giveaways and a phot contest at the tent of the Manhasset Chamber. The Michelangelo Ninja Turtle will be holding a meet and greet for the kids.

At 2:00 p.m., participating merchants will be open for Trick or Treating. The CJ, Gary Coper, will continue providing music throughout the afternoon. Outdoor dining will be offered at Villa Milano, Buttercooky Café, and Herb & Olive.

There will also be a creepy critter to see at the Science Museum of Long Island and the first 250 children at the event will receive special Trick or Treat Bags filled with unique items from small businesses in Manhasset.

This unique Halloween event will be on Saturday October 21.
