Just a few days before the summer ends and the fall begins, there is going to be a celebration in appreciation of the Italian influence on our culture.
The annual festival, which will be hosted this year by Hofstra University, has become a popular and long-standing tradition of Long Island. This year, the event has been titled the ‘24th Annual Italian Festival Experience’. As usual the event will be celebrating Italy’s influence on American culture, education, and commerce. Every year the event has been a success, drawing thousands of people from the tristate area.
The festival is attractive to the entire family with so much to be enjoyed. The event is going to feature a variety of foods, different vendors, and all sorts of handmade crafts. The event will take place on September 18 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on the south campus of Hofstra University, 1000 Fulton Avenue in Hempstead, which is just 10 miles south of Manhasset. The admission for adults is $6. Senior citizens admission is $5, and children under 12 are admitted for free.
