The Manhasset Chamber of Commerce is planning several events for the rest of the year.
Poster printing can be used to promote such events around the town.
Currently underway is Manhasset Al Fresco, which features local businesses offering shopping and dining events. Plandome Road will have some closures to allow pedestrians to stroll along the street in a festive and safe environment, and for outdoor dining.
Shop Manhasset will also be providing giveaways, photo opportunities, and raffles. Children will be able to participate in “Chalk the Town,” where they will be given chalk to draw inspirational quotes and pictures on the sidewalks of Manhasset.
The annual Trick-or-Treat Halloween event will be hosted by the Chamber in the fall. This event is free and open to the public. It will take place on Plandome Road, where the floral planters will be decorated by the Chamber with Halloween decorations leading up to the event.
There will also be a kick-off party with little ones trick or treating at participating merchants. This event will take place in October.
“A Merry Little Manhasset” will be the Chamber’s celebration of Small Business Saturday. Plandome Road once again will be filled with festivities to encourage the community to support small businesses in town. This will be in November.
The Chamber will also be hosting its Holiday Window Display Contest and its Holiday Scavenger Hunt, both taking place later in the year.
