The waters off Long Island may be chilly, but they are also full of life, and an Island Park event will introduce these plants, animals, and other organisms to the public.
The Island Park Public Library will be welcoming special guest Chris Paparo, also known as “The Fish Guy,” who will be sharing his knowledge and love of marine life with attendees. The talk will be held in the evening, and the event's online listing explains that it may be appreciated by anyone who enjoys learning about underwater organisms.
The Fish Guy will be hosting a presentation of photographs he has taken during dives off of Long Island, and videos will also be in the mix. There will be fish, mollusks, and other invertebrates in the discussion, and he will provide facts and other details about their ecology. The talk will be suitable for all ages, and it is on offer for free.
Libraries often serve as community hubs, providing space for residents to gather, learn, and have fun. A poster printing company will be able to provide budget-friendly marketing materials that may be a good fit for a not-for-profit organization or institution.
The ‘Exploring Long Island's Underwater World’ talk will be offered by Chris Paparo, The Fish Guy, on April 14, beginning at 6:30 pm.
