A community service group that serves Long Island will soon be hosting a celebration that will mark 50 years of it making life better for those who call the area home.
This Island Park area event will be held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, and it will celebrate the work done by the Urban League of Long Island and its volunteers. Both general admission and VIP passes to be part of the soiree are on offer, and they start at $300.
The night will look back on the history of the organization and the impact it has made, while also having an eye on the future. Music and other entertainment are on the agenda, and food will be served. A lineup of special guests has been booked. Anyone who would like to show their support but cannot attend in person is encouraged to consider making a donation.
To help make it easier for Long Island businesses to get involved, a sponsorship program is in place. These start at the Neighborhood level, and each includes ways for a company's Logo Design and branding to be seen. Certificates of appreciation will also be distributed.
