Long Beach art camp to start in July

Earth Arts of Long Beach will launch its Summer Art Camp next month.

The camp, held in mornings and afternoons, is aimed at children from kindergarten to grade eight, and families from Island Park can also register for classes.

Earth Arts will hold morning and afternoon classes, with each focusing on different themes and art media. Children attending can expect to work with clay, ceramics, canvases, mosaics, and more. Also, students will explore themes like mythical creatures, the sea, and Christmas. Through these classes, instructors will help children build their imaginations and creativity.

Classes like these often obtain supplies from printing services, so students do not need to bring their own materials. Although students will receive snacks throughout the class, organizers do recommend packing lunches for children if they are attending both morning and afternoon classes.

Families can sign up their children on a week-by-week basis. Each week will run from Mondays to Fridays, with classes running for three hours each. Earth Arts also offers discounts for families signing up for four or more weeks at one time.

The first week of classes will start on Monday, July 5. Morning classes will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while afternoon classes are from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Earth Arts is located at 192 West Park Avenue.
