Island Park is made for summer fun, and one of its activities will add some light, color, and sound to the season.
Randall’s Island Park will be kicking off its summer celebration schedule with its Fireworks and Fun night, and everyone is on the guestlist. The festivities will run for three hours, and while they enjoy the excitement, everyone on hand can get to know their neighbors.
The plans for the event include Caribbean-style dance courtesy of Sweet Water Dance & Yoga, and there will also be games and music. As the sun goes down, the gathering will be invited to sit back, relax, and take in the Astoria Park fireworks show, which will be provided by Central Astoria, LDC. Ear protection is recommended for the audience, as the viewing area will be close to the launch site. Communities across the country will be celebrating summer with special events of their own. Event programs, Signs, vendor contracts, and other custom printed materials can all be ordered from local Stationery printers.
This festive evening is on the way to the Island Park area on Thursday, June 26th. It will begin at 6:00 pm in the White Garden area of Randall’s Island Park.
