Island Park sets summer beach schedule

As the hot days of summer draw closer, many Island Park residents may want to head to the beach, and the schedule has been set for a local opportunity.

Masone Beach has set the date for the opening of its summer schedule, which will be open to the public daily. The organizers have released the policies for this year, and at least one will be new for 2024.

The beach will be open from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm each day, and beach tags are required until 6:00 pm, as well as parking permits. A lifeguard will be on duty for the safety of the bathers from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm each day. Permits and beach tags can now be purchased at the Village Hall in Island Park, and they may also be bought at the beach itself after it opens for the season. The Village Hall is also now accepting bookings for the beach gazebo.

Selling permits and passes to a venue can help to pay for its maintenance and upkeep. A printing services company can prepare hangers and other items to display in a vehicle to show that parking fees have been paid, as well as signage and other materials.

The Village of Island Park will open Masone Beach on Saturday, June 29. More details about pricing are available on its website.
