Island Park will be kicking off summer with a party that will help to make sure everyone in the community can enjoy recreational programming appropriate to their abilities.
Bridgeview Yacht Club will be rolling out the red carpet for a benefit planned in support of Camp ANCHOR (Answering the Needs of Citizens with Handicaps through Organized Recreation). This initiative provides recreation as well as summer camp options for the area’s special need community, and tickets start at $125 each.
The function will feature live music and the fun will get started with a cocktail mixer. Dinner will be served, and an open bar is also in the works. Raffles, even-split, and basket draws will be held. This will be the 14th year that the gathering has taken place, and its organizers are hoping it will once again prove to be a success.
Local businesses and individuals interested in getting involved with the fundraiser can do so by purchasing tickets or serving as a sponsor. Sponsorship packages start at $300, and offer recognition by including the company's Logo Design and branding in the slideshow running during the celebration.
This Island Park beach-themed soiree will celebrate summer on Thursday, June 27. The doors will open at 7:00 pm, and the venue can be found at 80 Waterfront Road.
