Island Park area to host afternoon tea fundraiser

Island Park ladies who are looking for way to make some special memories may wish to save the date for an event that will be held in the area.

The women who come to the Woga New York Inc.’s Signature Tea Party and Annual Fundraiser will be treated to a cultured afternoon. They are invited to wear their prettiest party dress, and hats, tiaras, and fascinators will also be welcome.

Guests of the afternoon will be treated to a selection of teas, coffee and juice ,as well as cakes, scones, sandwiches and other dainty delicacies that are often included in a British afternoon tea party. A DJ will provide music and other entertainment, and the annual fashion show will also be back for another year. The occasion is open to ladies and girls of all ages, and tickets are $35 each.

The proceeds from the occasion will be used to help fund educational initiatives at Westwood High School Jamaica. Specially designed Banners and other decorations for this type of affair can be crafted by a printing services provider in the local area.
