The Queens County Farm Museum offers area residents a glimpse into the area’s agricultural past, and one of its community events will celebrate the spooky side of the season.
The Island Park area venue has made arrangements to welcome one and all for its Halloween on the Farm. The day of festivities will be full of fun for all ages. Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time, and they must be presented for entry to the venue. They will not be available at the gate.
Those who attend the festivities will be able to visit the Amazing Maize Maze, which is being offered thanks to support from Con Edison. A DJ dance party and Halloween Hayrides will take place, and the kids can go trick-or-treating at the nine stations on site. A spooky farmhouse will provide a creepy experience, and everyone can learn about the venue’s recycling program and other initiatives.
Along with the rest of the fun, the organizers explained that there will be several local food vendors on site, and the farm market will be open. A banner printing company will be happy to partner with event organizers for a special occasion, providing any custom decor required.
Queens County Farm Museum will be hosting this day of frightful fun on Sunday, October 29. The museum is at 73-50 Little Neck Parkway in Floral Park.
