Island Park area prepares for gala affair

The Island Park area is about to welcome an event that will celebrate the role members of the NYPD Jamaican American Law Enforcement Organization (NYPD JAMLEO) play in their communities.

The organization's first annual Gala took place last year, and it was such a success that its organizers have decided to bring it back for 2024. Tickets to be part of the fun start at $185 per person, and taxes and fees may be applied.

The evening will be held at the Floral Terrace, and guests will be able to mingle and enjoy one another’s company. They can support one another and talk about their challenges and successes, and food will be served to the crowd. Several guest speakers will address the assembled group, and while they enjoy the event, the guests will be honoring those who serve their community.

When preparing for a gala affair, planners may be in the market for decor and other materials that add an elegant touch to an event. These may be sourced from a local banner printing company, which will be able to offer services to its clients at a variety of price points.

The second annual NYPD JAMLEO Gala will be on offer at 250 Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park. It has been scheduled for Friday, November 1, and the festivities will run from 7:00 pm until 11:30 pm.
