Mother's Day is a time to show mom how much she matters, and an upcoming Island Park area event will treat her to a special experience.
The evening fundraiser planned in honor of area mothers will boast a Haitian flavor, and is being organized by Association Des Ouanaminthais (ADO). The function’s charity of choices is the health fair that will be held in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, and everyone is welcome.
Those on the guestlist for the celebration will be treated to an evening of music, food, and fun with their friends. Everyone can order drinks at the cash bar, and there will be free parking on site. DJ UNEEK will be spinning the tunes so everyone can hit the dancefloor, and dinner will be served as well. Tickets for the gathering are $108.55, which includes fees and taxes, and tax receipts will be issued for $100.
A fundraiser built around a central theme may require custom decor. A printer’s graphic design team will be happy to prepare one, along with special Promotional Products to distribute as swag to the guests.
This event in support of a Haitian health fair will begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 26. It has been scheduled to take place at the Elks Lodge located at 901 Lakeville Road in New Hyde Park.
