Long Island families in need of a helping hand when it comes to planning summertime fun may want to check out an Island Park area event that will have them covered.
The free Long Island Family Camp Fair and Activities Expo will have lots to offer area families, and it will be held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City. Kids may attend along with their parents, and it will showcase camps and active ways to enjoy summer fun.
The session will give parents and caregivers the opportunity to meet with a wide assortment of camp directors and other representatives. They can ask questions and gather information on both day and sleepaway options. Kids can play games and try out the activities on offer for them, and raffle draws have been scheduled.
An expo event gives those who attend the chance to meet with a wide assortment of company reps all under one roof.
