Island Park area hosting skating New Years Eve celebration
The Island Park area will soon see an event that will have people saying goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018, along with their friends, families and neighbors.
Everyone from the local area is invited to lace up their skates and enjoy a New Year’s celebration out on the ice. This will mark the fourth year for the Annual First Night at the Long Beach Ice Arena, and it will include lots of fun for the whole family. Along with the skating, there will be a movie shown, and the kids can make a craft to bring home with them as a memento of the evening.
Music will be playing throughout the event to help keep the festive atmosphere going strong, and an assortment of friendly competitions will be organized as well. The area’s snack bar will have specials on offer for those who want to warm up for a few minutes before going back to the ice, and at 6:30 pm, the ball will drop and the guests will greet 2018 a little bit early. Graphic design can be utilized to produce a variety of products to promote an event like this to people in the local area.
