An Island Park event has been planned with canine lovers in mind.
The organizer of Canine Companions Dog Fest will offer plenty of ways for owners to give their furry friends top care, and will be lots of fun for both humans and their “fur kids” alike. The proceeds will be donated to a local animal welfare organization, and both in-person and virtual activities are on the agenda for the day.
The attendees at the celebration will be able to sit in on a presentation delivered by an animal care expert, and there will also be agility trials and other demonstrations by working dogs. Everyone can meet and mingle, and an assortment of pet-themed vendors will be setting up shop on site for the day. A costume parade and contest, silent auction and walk will round out the festivities.
To thank those who choose to register ahead of time, each person who does so will receive a dog bandana printed with a fun graphic design. Corporate Gifts for an event will be on offer at a local printer.
